January 2, 2024 - Hey Pat, CHRISTMAS MUSIC IS STILL PLAYING

Well, yes. I am a die hard, when it comes to stopping the Christmas Music. Yet, we actually take Christmas Music all the way through Epiphany. That may be a term that is foreign to many Christians, yet observed by millions of other Christians.

What is Epiphany? It is a Christian holiday primarily commemorating the Magi’s visit to the baby Jesus. The Western traditions focus on the Magi’s visit, seen as the first manifestation of Christ as saviour of Gentiles, as well as Jews. Epiphany is not some new feast for the Christian Church. It is among the Christian church’s oldest and most important feasts. It is not a fest of a certain denomination. It is celebrated by many denominations, and non-denominations of Christians.

So, because I can keep the Christmas music playing, I LOVE this holiday.

Enjoy it while you can, the 6th of January will be the last day of this wonderfully beautiful Christmas Music. By the way, did you notice new Christmas music added this year? I was able to find close to 50 new Christmas songs to add to our playlist this year. I have more to add, but they will have to wait for next year.
