This song encourages one to sow seeds of peace.
To become, a peacemaker and to love one another.

"Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be
called the sons of God" Matthew 5:9
"For nothing is impossible with God" Luke 1:37.  All in His will, His way, His time, His purpose, and under His control.  The Lord is so good.

A Christmas Song ...

This song whispers, God's love to me.

"And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS,
for He will save His people from their sins" Matthew 1:21

When I was typing the word "sins" I made a mistake and wrote "sings"
I realized then that it isn't until, we confess our sins (become born again)
do we adequately understand what it is to, truly sing.

The JOY of our salvation simply, wells up inside our hearts, inspiring us to
sing songs of praise and worship to our King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
"For nothing is impossible with God" Luke 1:37.  All in His will, His way, His time, His purpose, and under His control.  The Lord is so good.

This song is so full of hope!

"For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.  And
His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty
God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace" Isaiah 9:6
"For nothing is impossible with God" Luke 1:37.  All in His will, His way, His time, His purpose, and under His control.  The Lord is so good.

This song is heartwarming, in keeping, true to the focal point
of what Christmas is all, about.  Jesus Christ is, Lord and Savior!

"Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you;
he is Christ the Lord.  This will be a sign to you: You will find
a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger" Luke 2:11
"For nothing is impossible with God" Luke 1:37.  All in His will, His way, His time, His purpose, and under His control.  The Lord is so good.

These songs, are an encouragement for us to worship Jesus the
Lord our, Savior Redeemer and King.

"Sing praise to the LORD, you saints of His, and give
thanks at the remembrance of His holy name"
Psalm 30:4

Ponder upon these things ... for the Lord our God is so good!

".....Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of
our faith,...." Hebrews 12:1-2
"For nothing is impossible with God" Luke 1:37.  All in His will, His way, His time, His purpose, and under His control.  The Lord is so good.

This song is an open invitation ..... for a sweet surrender.

This is something we can all do to get the New Year off
to a good start.

"Rejoice always; pray without ceasing;
in everything give thanks; for this is
God's will for you in Christ Jesus"
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
"For nothing is impossible with God" Luke 1:37.  All in His will, His way, His time, His purpose, and under His control.  The Lord is so good.

A good reason to trust ...

As we surrender our all into the hands of our Almighty Creator
we can rest with, a sweet savoring, confident assurance that
He is the, God of all comfort.  He alone will meet our every need.
We need not worry!  So smile and keep your eyes fixed upon
the Lord.  Happy New Year to everyone!

"Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good;
Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
Psalm 34:8

This song helps us to focus not on what isn't but what is.

The song is no longer available, but you can read the lyrics below.

I've posted this in Little Light too because it is a song, but it is also part of my story:
I've said that Mercy Me's "Hold Fast" was sent to me by God when I was losing my dad............I listened to it over and over and over and it gave me strength -- to be honest, I never listened to the rest of the cd during that time because I had found what I needed.........then after he died, I did listen to the rest of the cd and found again what I needed, but I wasn't quite sure why..........it was this song, and today is the first time I saw a video for it and now I understand why ...........................it wasn't talking about me, it was talking about my dad.......
