"It's so hard to not wear my heart on my sleeve, I'm just that kind of person. The bad thing about being that way, it always sets myself up for potential hurt. Could it be best to encage the remnants of my heart, and close it down tight?" - a friend of mine.

I feel like I am just repeating myself here, but Leigha had a setback today and needs those prayers again. And I could use some as well.

I have been thinking of you both, and I will remember you both in my prayers. Oh dear Lord draw nigh to dear Leigha now and let her rest upon Your breast, and let mom rest there too. Shed your peace in both their hearts and let them sleep tonight a deep sleep, with dreams of You and Your love. Let Your blanket of love cover them. Lift any troubling thoughts, any anxiety, worries, thoughts of sadness. Let happy thoughts fill their minds. Let prosperity come their way, and for decisions to be made in their favour. Giving understanding of things that are happening, and allow mom and daughter to see with Your eyes. Let them both know afresh they are both in the palm of Your hand and nothing can harm them. You have their best interests at heart and You will work everything out; all things work together for good. Amen.

I will continue to pray for you both. Much love, Jackie xxx

Thanks Jackie. Your caring and your prayers help so much.

I'm really running out of strength. This path with Leigha has been so much harder then I make it look. One of her issues is that Leigha has always had meltdowns due to the autism. When she gets overwhelmed by too much noise, people, something different........she would just stop what she was doing and breakdown. That's been going on forever and I have found a million and two ways to deal with those. Another thing is that she mimics behaviors and feelings because of the autism. When I went through the horror of my dad's death and then my mom's death, I had to keep all emotion from her or she would have fed off that and been a wreck. Do you realize how hard that was for me? But I did it. And I don't know if I can explain this to someone who doesn't deal with a child like this, but several months ago a friend was upset and got physically sick in front of her. Seeing them sick, made her sick. Well that person was all better within a few days but now because of her inability to process properly, every time she gets upset now, she makes herself throw up. She has seen people get sick before and it has never happened. She will be absolutely fine and then start all over again. It's not physical, it is a brain connection thing and I have tried my million and two ways to handle it and then added a good million and three more and nothing is helping. The only thing that can possibly help is God.

Father, I have done everything and then some that a mom can possibly do. We need You. Only You can help this child. I can only love her on the outside, You can heal her on the inside. Lay Your hand on her now, and do what I can't do. Save her from hurting herself even more. I pray from a mother's heart. Amen.

Exodus 3:1-2
New King James Version (NKJV)

Exodus 3
Moses at the Burning Bush
"Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian. And he led the flock to the back of the desert, and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed."

I really love quiet little gestures, but sometimes I really need the grand gesture.....the impossible to deny one. :)

Prayer for my dear son Chan -- in Prayer Requests

"My goodness Linda, you put into words what I have not been able to. You so
eloquently said what my heart can only whisper in my Heavenly Father's ear.
I truly identify how you listen with your heart as I had to do the same with my
son. We've had this conversation before, but it is worth reflecting upon it again."---Lee

Thank you Lee..for your kind words and mostly for understanding. (Although I believe that eloquence is really your gift, not mine.) Your prayers are beautiful. :)

Why not share the gift of your heart today. It will make your heart happy too!

I think I had "vision" when vision wasn't cool.

I was thinking about the song "I Can Only Imagine". I heard it this morning after not hearing it for quite a while. It always makes me very aware of how it would feel to be in the presence of pure love. Of love meant for you and you alone...I feel I would be very overwhelmed at first, in the feeling of that love. I know the tears would be flowing - joyful tears- and beaming smiles ---and there would be just the perfect perfect hug - a hug that envelops all of you including your heart with a feeling of acceptance, belonging, and love beyond compare. One that makes you feel like you are finally home, in the arms where you belong....loved with the purest and most powerful of love..... A feeling of someone being so happy to see you, the "I've been waiting all of my life just to see your face, see your smile, to embrace you."

That is what I envision when I envision that love. In heaven....or on earth.
