Pondering a noteworthy mindset ...

"A double minded man is unstable in all his ways"
James 1:8 KJV

A person that has the characteristic of individual consistence is one
who will succeed.

For it is better to be single minded rather than a double minded person.

When we stick beforehand from wavering from one decision to another,
we show others we stand with conviction.

Therefore, we are to be an honest determined single minded person
standing on God's word guiding us at all times.

"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path"
Psalm 119:105

The Lord is more pleased when we're truthfully decisive with important
judgements of fact and virtue.

With this in mind our character has the moral excellence to be believed
and trusted.

We then bypass any shadow of doubt as we conform to the righteous
standard of God's living word.

"The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God
stands forever" Isaiah 40:8

The beauty of the little things in life ...

Lately, the pain level in my lower torso has been overbearing.
Unfortunately, with each passing day the RSD pain spread to my
upper torso as well. If I had to choose which pain, I would prefer,
I would go with the lower torso pain level. For some reason, it hurts
worse on the upper parts of the body. Regardless, pain is pain and
no one likes to have it as part of their day.

The Lord has been a rock of comfort to me in the midst of it all.

"Come and see what God has done, how awesome his works in
man's behalf!" Psalm 66:5

Today (4/18/12) in Florida it was sunny with some clouds and about
30% chance of rain.

In order to keep my muscles from getting atrophied and the pain level
at bay I went outside. As soon as I started to do some physical therapy
exercises, a small aircraft distracted my attention. Looking up, I suddenly
saw a big rainbow arc surrounding my home.

Immediately, I remembered what I had posted a few days ago.

Whenever I glance up in the sky and see a rainbow overhead it feels like
He is comforting me.

Holy Father, please keep us covered under the protective arc of Your rainbow.
We pray this in the Mighty and Holy name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

"As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds His people
from this time forth and forever" Psalm 125:2

Sweet praise, worship and thankfulness poured out of my lips like honey.

About a half-hour later I looked up again. Right before my eyes I saw
another rainbow. Gleefully, I realized that the clouds had hidden away
the second one. At that moment, I heard these words: "The clouds too
will part from your present affliction."

The tender Lamb who suffered tremendous pain met me at my level.

A surprise moment gave me two blessings with the hope of safekeeping
and beneficial healing.

My difficult day of pain turned out to be a beautiful day of promise.

If you are suffering, then remember this ... you too will have a fulfillment
of a hopeful promise. Keep looking up and watch for your double rainbow
covenant.

"My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life"
Psalm 119:50

No affliction is ever without its long awaited future royal crown of glory

For the Love of God ...

"............God is love" 1 John 4:8

The unfailing love of Christ dwells in you, with you and for you.

It illustrates a cherished relationship that is active and set in motion.

The living love is God himself for God is love embodied. It is so profound
that His mighty presence is revealed and cannot be contained.

The indwelling love is all consuming, all powerful with faith manifested.

Never doubt this love life is in you for you are the house in which he resides.

".....Christ was faithful as a Son over His house--whose house we are, if we
hold fast our confidence and boast of our hope firm until the end"
Hebrews 3:6

The love of God overflows in blessed abundance to those who absolutely know it.

It is the living God that infuses and exists within the deep core of your being.

With this in mind we can be reassured with confidence that God is in you.
He will walk the miles of the thorny roads with you every single day.
For it is his dependable nature to be for you and not against you.

Sovereign Lord, my heart is prostrate before you for truly you are the living
love/word of God.

To the living God be all the honor, praise and glory forevermore! So be it.

".....and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age" Amen.
Matthew 28:20

An inquisitive thought ...

This is for everyone who is wondering about life in general. It doesn't
necessarily have to be about illnesses. It can be about anything that is
occurring in your own personal life.

During my quiet time on 5/3/12 with the Lord I asked, "What should we do?"
Then I remembered the bible verse in 2 Chronicles 20:12 where it says, "We
don't know what to do but our eyes are on you."

Pondering upon that verse I then asked Him to show me a verse to comfort me.
His God awesome response was so simple and to the point in Isaiah 58:9.

"Then you will call, and the Lord will answer;
you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I."

He didn't skip a beat at all ... for His all-knowing heart knew what I needed to hear.

The God who is the great Comforter and who is the Healer of our hearts is with us.
He is ever present; He is available; He is dependable; He is faithful, and He is loving.

Therefore, we can totally rest in the fact that he will lead his flock with complete
security. Even when adversity comes to us in all forms along with other major
obstacles. And sometimes it's easy to allow fearful thoughts to enter in. We
must rely on the Lord's strong arm to bear us up and help us overcome any
conflict. We need not concern ourselves for what is happening to us because
He will take care of us.

So then are there any questions? At this point, I would have to answer,
no, not one. For the Lord is working things out in His will, His way, His
time, His purpose and under His control!

"Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens"
Selah Psalm 68:19

JESUS ... a willing sacrificial love ...

Suffering is a natural consequence when we love our Lord and Savior.

Our understanding of life does not give us a full view of all the reasons that we suffer.
We can search for answers but does it really matter in the long run?

The sweetest praise pours out of my lips as my suffering is crucified through Christ.

It's like I mentioned before ... the more pain ... the greater the praise!

If my Lord suffered, then why shouldn't we? Who promised us a pain-free life?
The last time I checked my bible ... it's nowhere to be found.

Suffering is part of our existence for we are designed in the image of Christ Jesus. He
suffered; He died, and He showed us how to endure quietly with confidence and trust.
His dying words were few yet they left an impact for generations to come. Therefore,
I choose to suffer like my Lord by accepting my temporal life's woes.

Pain and suffering can make us courageous and strong in spite of our fears and weaknesses.
Through Christ, our afflictions build character while instilling a virtuous integrity along with
a fortified strength of will.

The Lord our Redeemer set the perfect example of a grief-stricken suffering soul. He of all
afflicted servants did not deserve to suffer yet He did for our sake. As recipients of His great
loving sacrifice upon the cross we ought to be forever grateful.

The best thing to do is allow the integrity of the heart to burst forth with praise. That is
when you see "Jesus" shinning through as the central figure dominating our lives. Your
afflictions seem to fade away ... they don't take precedence ... they become silhouettes
against the splendor of God's amazing brilliant light.

When the Lord is front and center whatever ails us gets dimmer in the light of the Lord.

"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly
we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving
for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is
seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal"
2 Corinthians 4:16-18

Now then in light of all your woes ...

Father stir my heart ... to know you deeper.

The One who longs for intimacy with Him desires for us to draw
close to His heart.

It's the place that is tranquil and reserved for the child who seeks
communion with his God.

Just His nearness releases a fragrant warm love. This fulfilling
gentle love embraces the heart of man into a quiet rest.

All are welcomed ...

The one criterion is for you to love the Lord with all your heart, soul,
mind and with all your strength.

My heart is safely entangled with His heart of love ...

No more do I need to search for I have found pure true undefiled love.
It's simply one with the heart of God! His is the authentic faithful heart
you can listen to and fully trust with every fiber of your being.

Father my heart is Yours ... now and forever!

"And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your
soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first
commandment" Mark 12:30

Knowing You Lord in close friendship makes this commandment easy to
follow and obey.

Hidden in Jesus ...

Have you ever felt encapsulated in Jesus' warm love and presence?
In the soothing and contained area where you utterly feel embraced
with contentment and peace?

I believe we all have at some point ... we wouldn't trade that for anything in the world.

It makes me wonder if that is how Moses felt when he was placed in the cleft of the rock.

In your mind's eye imagine how that scene played out.

Moses had to have sensed some phenomenal feelings of awe. How could he not?
Here was a mere man singled out by the God of Israel to do an extraordinary task.
Moses was not full of self-importance. As a matter of fact, he felt inadequate and
poor in speech.

On face value, I have to say that is true of me too. I am not a writer, nor I have
ever claimed to be one. Regardless the Lord has called all of us to get out of our
comfort zone and witness for Him in some form.

Feeling like Moses did we both say ... who me? He said, Lord, send Aaron, who
is a better speaker!

I say, replace me Lord with someone who can write properly!

Even so, the Lords says no. You are the one I chose to do what I've called you to do.

It's that basic and simple a command ...

Humbly, we submit because God is God, and he rules over-all matters.

Being hidden away in the secluded refuge of the Father's protection gives us courage.
It instills a boldness, so we can step out in faith and face the giants in the land. It's
looking at life's perception through the eyes of a loving Father. We don't look at the
rising waters; we look to Him and walk on dry land.

Simply put ... we ... let it be ... and ... let God be!

Moses got to witness miracle upon miracle displayed before his eyes.

We too can watch for miraculous wonders to occur in our lifetime.

Now then ... let Jesus' envelope you in the warm folds of his tender embrace.

"The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms"

~ You are loved, comforted, and protected in every minuscule level of need ~

The honored privilege of being a child of God ...

He not only created us, but He also predestined our times
and where we would live. It is via the blood of Jesus that
gives us the DNA to qualify us as His own.

"God who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord
of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands.
Nor is He worshiped with men's hands, as though He needed
anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. And
He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on
all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed
times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should
seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find
Him, though He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live
and move and have our being
, as also some of your own poets
have said, "For we are also His offspring" Acts 17:24-28

The relationship is open ended with free will for God seeks an
intimate fellowship with us.

It's through God's personal loving interaction that communicates
the hushed utterance of His heart. We need only to listen intently
to hear the stillness of His voice. Just like a drop of water causing
a ripple effect His redemptive words do as well.

The eyes of the heart ...

Unseeing eyes are opened when they recognize the way
Jesus walked on this earth.

The steps were well paved for generations of mankind to
trace in His footsteps.

It was through His actions of meekness that emphasized
Jesus' attribute of love.

His meekness revealed the humility of His heart to the Father.

Jesus was obedient in every way while counting the cost.

He is a true servant who clearly observes the void in people's
souls.

Jesus saw the emptiness and lack of fulfillment in the woman
at the well. His eyes of love pierced into the apple of her eyes
to the core of her inner being.

He spoke to her with tender love while leading her to the truth.
It was the judgement of sincere honesty that set her free of her
unrighteous living.

When her eyes were opened, she joyfully proclaimed the Master's
words of living waters.

It was a life-altering moment of interaction in the presence of the
soul healer. That's all it took to change her seeking heart, which
enriched her life.

This is true for us today if we are willing to yield and surrender
ourselves to Jesus' Sovereignty.

... are you willing to take heed and comply? Selah

Lord, please give sight to the blind of heart and unfold your words of life.
Amen.

"I remember your ancient laws, O LORD, and I find comfort in them"
Psalm 119:52. For ... "The entirety of Your word is truth, and every
one of Your righteous judgments endures forever" Psalm 119:160.
"My tongue shall speak of Your Word, for all Your commandments
are righteousness" Psalm 119:72. And ... "The unfolding of your
words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple"
Psalm 119:130.

Cast off and be free ...

"Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me" Psalm 54:4

With His care bearing arms' God enfolds you into His loving embracing hug.

For His word teaches to ... "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares
for you." 1 Peter 5:7

Those are the kind of words that promote internal peace and eternal hope.
In your inner being you were created with a void that only the Creator can
fulfill. There's a deep yearning in the heart that is solely satisfied with the
indwelling of the Holy Spirit. So with that in mind you believe by trusting
the Maker of heaven and earth with a realistic lasting expectation.

It's life gratifying to know that God is your source of immediate assistance
and strength.

There is no other that can take away your burdens, your concerns, and
your troubles. The infinite Provider will keep you unmovable, unshakable
and unbreakable. His arms of love will keep you steady paced, even keeled,
and well balanced throughout.

To cast is to get rid of, throw out, expel, drop, dismiss. Cast is a wonderful
word because it frees you up. It gives you permission to release you from
yourself and all of your problems. The casting off sets in motion a sense
of euphoria in which your mind relaxes. It places the burdens and anxieties
on the One who cares deeply for you.

What this really tells you is not to worry in the least. There's no need to
wonder or suffer the mind-boggling problems of your times. In other
words, it is trusting in the Father image of God your Daddy.

The Protector that will keep you, sustain you and take care of you.

You can rest assured that every word of His promise is pure, trustworthy and
comforting. There is a sustaining power in His strong arm of victory over you.
Nothing can touch you or harm you. Any intrusion is kept at bay. No evil will
befall you for the sustainable God is in control of everything that concerns you.

He is the keeper of the door of your heart, your soul and your mind...

And He will do it ... whole heartily take care of you, your family and your life's
needs! Be worry free, don't let problems fasten on you. Shake them off!

Therefore, "Cast your cares on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never
let the righteous fall." Psalm 55:22

You are beautiful! ...

My youngest son Jon is very affectionate toward my husband and I.

He is one who constantly tells you he loves you every chance he gets.

At times, Jon loves to surprise me with a single red rose from the garden.

He knows how much I appreciate one rose over a dozen of them.

Simple is far better in my book.

On Saturday, out of the blue he started to sing to me with these words.
"You are beautiful in every single way.
You're beautiful no matter what they say.
You are beautiful every single day."

He really blessed my heart, but at the same time he made me laugh.

As I pondered his words, it made me think about how the Lord thinks
we are beautiful.

It made me contemplate about the kind of beauty that endures and
the kind that fades away.

The word of God states that ...
"Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman
who fears the Lord is to be praised" Proverbs 31:30

Furthermore, it goes on to say that ...
"Your beauty should not come from outward adornment,
such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and
fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self,
the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is
of great worth in God's sight" 1 Peter 3:3-4

That is an excellent way to honor God with the simplicity of the heart.

God given beauty is deep within which lingers never to fade away.

Yes indeed "you are beautiful" Jon sings as he gives me a hug and a kiss.

Mind you the Lord too sings you are beautiful as he enfolds you into his
loving embracing hug.

"The Lord your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice
over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over
you with singing" Zephaniah 3:17

Seek my face ...

The Lord invites each one of us to seek His face.

We in turn ought to respond with: "Your face we seek."

This invitation opens to more than just the stature of His face.

It leads us into the expanding greatness of His holy presence.

God's word tells us that in His presence is fullness of joy.

"You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness
of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore"
Psalm 16:11

To me to seek is to look, to inquire ...

Once you look into the Sacred face of the Lord you witness His glory.
The simple fact is that when you inquire upon His face, you are actually
gazing upon the living breathing word. There are no distractions because
nothing matters anymore. Everything else fades into the background. The
only thing that is paramount is staring into the eyes and face of the glorious
Lord God Almighty.

The line of communication is one on one. The beauty of it is that the
language of his heart is love. God is the living and breathing word
manifested in the splendor of all glory.

In that moment, we can't help but adore Him with reverent awe.

Thus, we are lavished in the supernatural domain of His glorious being.

Lo and Behold ... the ruling power of the King's supremacy is realized,
which is enthroned above all.

"I have sought your face with all my heart; be gracious to me
according to your promise" Psalm 119:58

~ Ah ... soon we shall dwell in the Garden of God's Kingdom in perpetuity! ~

~ Sigh ... Take that truth and inhale it deep within your lungs, breathe it in! ~

A rainbow circle ...

It never ceases to astound me while reading God's Word suddenly
something stands out and jumps at you.

That is exactly what happened when I read Revelation 4.

The disciple John gives us a little peek into his ultimate experience.

To observe God's breath-taking mastery leaves me panting for more.

After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven,
and the first voice which I had heard, like the sound of a trumpet speaking
with me, said, "Come up here, and I will show you what must take place
after these things." Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne
was standing in heaven, and One sitting on the throne. And He who was
sitting was like a jasper stone and a sardius in appearance; and there was
a rainbow around the throne, like an emerald in appearance.
Revelation 4:1-3

The words painted an amazing picture on the canvas of my mind.

Take this in ... the throne was standing in heaven! To me, it's suspended
midair with no foundation for support. It is simply a free-floating supernatural
phenomenon in the heavens. And upon the throne sat the One true King with
indescribable jewels not known to mankind. Then lastly, we are shown through
the eyes' lens the picture of the rainbow encircling the throne of God. That's
a spectacular sight!

The artistry of the Master Architect is spell-bounding!

Not long ago I witnessed a ring around a bright light here in Florida. It was
strange because I've never seen such a sight. The brightness was blinding
so you couldn't really gaze at it directly. A short time later my curiosity got
the better of me, and I glanced at it again. Lo and behold the sight left me
breathless. There was a perfect rainbow circle from the center of that
illuminating light. I was mystified while shouting out to my family to take
a look. We could not understand how in the heavens, there could be a
circular rainbow. We were awe struck to observe a rainbow halo that
completely circled the sun above our house.

Yes, of course, we've seen a double rainbow many times but now a rainbow ring?
How could that be? We didn't say anything because we felt no one would believe
us. A few days later we found out that a sun halo does occur in Florida.

O.K. that's all well and good but does it have a rainbow on it? I dared not ask!
(The exact date of that sight was on Monday 6/04/12 around 1:40 P.M.)

Truthfully I have no clue if anyone, in this particular area saw the ring with the
rainbow. Up to this present date I still don't know.

Now back to that beautiful scene ... the blinding light surrounded by a perfect
rainbow. I was giddish with child-like giggles, and if my body allowed me to
jump up and down I would have.

That awesome sight is just a glimpse of the true beauty of what is yet to be
revealed. We will be enthralled beyond belief witnessing the radiant central
light of the Lord on His throne. The Majesty of His throne will entail the perfect
rainbow circle around it exhibiting His Divine glory! WOW! It's beyond belief!

Sovereign Lord, to behold Your beauty ... there are no words on earth to describe it.
Heaven's realm contains the adequate words in which to portray the essence of You.
Thank You Lord for sprinkling my existence with minute specks of a future in Paradise.
Jesus You are worthy to be honored, glorified and praised forever. Amen.

"Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; worship the Lord in the
splendor of his holiness" Psalm 29:2

Submission and obedience ... nets a just reward ...

Many times we become weary when we work so hard in accomplishing things.

Time seems to elude us as the task at hand produces little.

You wonder if your time and energy were to no avail.

Take, for instance, Peter when he and his men fished all night and caught nothing.

I'm sure they were discouraged, exhausted and ready to retire for the day.

It wasn't until the Lord spoke to Peter to go deep and let the nets down.

Can you just picture Peter's inquisitive look when Jesus spoke those words?

Now this is the part where it gets really interesting for me.

When I'm tired, I get nonchalant, and I go with the flow.

That is how I envision Peter being bone weary and docile by the sound of his response.

He simple said, "Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing;
nevertheless, at Your word, I will let down the net" Luke 5:5

Did you hear that?

In my perspective, I believe to submit is to humble one's soul.

It meekly says you yield, surrender by placing the reigns in the Lord's full control.

Peter immediately took God's word to heart by trusting the Master's voice.
He said, at your word ... I will ...

That is a noteworthy lesson for us to imitate as well.

No matter what it looks like or how impossible or how strange ... we obey.

It proves that we believe and trust in the Lord's Sovereignty.

His word has the power to do far greater things, then we can imagine.

Peter's obedient trust brought about an overwhelming successful catch of the day.

We too can cast our nets into the deep waters and become fishers of men.

"For with God nothing will be impossible" Luke 1:37

Lord Jesus speak Your word to me, and I will obey now and always. Amen.

Humbly yield, surrender, submit, drop everything, hold nothing back and follow Jesus!

~ In the end, the great eternal reward will be bountiful, a thousandfold! ~

Worship that heals ...

Worship stimulates healing throughout every membrane,
cell, every fiber of your being.

It anchors you so that your focus is in tune with the central
figure of Jesus Christ.

The setting is such that there is a release for purification of
mind, body and soul.

Today, bend your knee in humble submission before the Lord
and worship Him.

He is so worthy of honor and praise from an undivided heart.

Make Jesus your top priority and He will lift you up on high.
