... "Sharing Ministering Songs of Praise and Worship" ...

This thread is to encourage so you can share specific songs that
speak volumes to you. And to share how it ministers to your heart
while drawing closer to the Lord.

The song that has given my hubby, and I comfort is "Breathe On Us Again"
by Maranatha Praise Band. We play it repeatedly. We praise the name of
Jesus. We praise His holy name. Jesus is Lord!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_Otp4XJ3Ac

".....If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink" John 7:37

And the songs below, we play over and over again, as well ......

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZzEFIeNlsAQ&feature
This song helped me, when I was going through the "valley of weeping."
I lifted up my arms in spite of my situation, and praised the King of Glory!

"For who is God besides the LORD?  And who is the ROCK except our God"
Psalm 18:13

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Q8ESzK5pCw
This song releases us when we get a sense of defeat. We become more
than able to conquer whatever we face, in the vastness of our Lord.

"........we are more than conquerors through him who loved us........"
Romans 8:36-40

These songs are, an overflowing cistern of refreshing waters when a
thirsty soul needs a cool refreshing drink.

Sovereign Lord, grant this musical thread to be an uplifting encouragement,
to those whom you draw to come here and listen. Thank You Father Son
and Holy Spirit. Three in ONE, we love and adore YOU! Amen!

Just listened to the first two songs; wonderful. I love How Great Thou Art, we sang it at my mum's funeral, as it was one of her favourites. Thank you Lee for blessing us with these songs.

Jackie, thank you, for sharing about your mom.

The artist in the video that you posted really, poured
out his soul in worship.  Beautiful!

Lee told me today she's not feeling so good. I pray His presence will be so strong for her. I pray this beautiful woman's song will minister to Lee and anyone else who needs a healing touch.

The More I Seek You - Kari Jobe

Pat posted this worship song on his blog. I appreciated seeing the faces of the brethren worshipping. I thought about the reason why I appreciated seeing these worshippers. The answer is, I don’t belong to a local church, and so I don’t have the luxury of meeting physically with believers. So, watching this video really blessed me immensely. I recently attended a local church in my area, and I scanned the building just looking for one believer. I asked the Lord why I couldn’t find one. I looked at the preacher, and again I asked the Lord why I didn’t find His preacher in the pulpit.

I could have come away from that place feeling confused and empty, but I didn’t. Why? I always remember Pastor David Wilkerson’s words, “The Lord is with you right where you are.â€

Thank you, Jackie.  It was so, sweet of you to think of me.  God bless
your kindness.  The song is, very tender in it's simple, message.  Thank
you for sharing and for praying for me.

My quiet time of rest gave me the opportunity to bask in the tranquillity
of God's holy presence.  He comforted me with his peace and love.  He
tenderly sat there by my side.  The Lord was my source in fortifying me
with his strength and endurance, in the midst of my discomfort in my sick
bed.  He was my all in all...to God be the glory!

I'm still feeling dizzy and off balance but with the Lord, by my side I
can scale a wall, Psalm 18:29.

Dearest Lee

Thank you for posting this Graham Kendrick song. It reminded me of the time the Lord sent a young pastor to our community. He gathered a group of Christians on the harbour front to sing many of Graham's songs as a witness to those around us. I unashamedly stood in that company, head held high proclaiming the gospel message in song. It was a very sad day when this pastor left our town. Since he left we have not known such a blessing. Listening to this song made me remember him!

The Lord bless you Lee and family.
