March 20, 2024 Even In The Smallest of Things

Look closely. Do you see it?

How about now? Do you see it, yet?

Here it is. Look at the absolutely BEAUTIFUL detail in this tiny, perfect little flower I found in our front yard. To say that evolution created this, is just ludicrous. Ongoing evolution births chaos. It doesn’t birth perfection.

Yet, year after year these tiny little flowers show up in the spring in our yard, to say, “Yaaawwnnn, HELLO.” Amidst the chaos of this world, I’m looking for the ways God makes Himself visible to us.

46 God is our refuge and strength,
    a very present[b] help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way,
    though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea,
though its waters roar and foam,
    though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah

There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
    the holy habitation of the Most High.
God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved;
    God will help her when morning dawns.
The nations rage, the kingdoms totter;
    he utters his voice, the earth melts.
The Lord of hosts is with us;
    the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah

Come, behold the works of the Lord, Psalm 46:1-8
