The Cross On 34th & Broadway

I got the following this morning from Casey. I knew you would want to read it.

Please keep both he and Connie in your prayers. This work is soooooo important. It is FRONT LINE for the Gospel.

Within minutes of showing up at 34th and Broadway,  a manCrosswalks up to me with an extra serious look on his face, and said, “Sir, I need God!” We grabbed each others shoulders, and instantly prayed, and asked JESUS to come to his rescue. Then, we talked awhile and he promised to come see me again very soon and let me know how it was going.

Within minutes a lady walks up, and said, “Please pray for me. I need help”. After praying, she left with smiles and tears. JESUS really touched her, :) and He gave her major hope that it is all going to be ok.

This continued for about an hour, person after person. Then the Lord led me to preach about the goodness of the Lord, and we need to team up with God, through His Son, JESUS.

Bless the Lord, and thanks for your prayers. O JESUS, You are wonderfully faithful.

A report from a fellow missionary, in the middle of New York City. The harvest is ready for His Eternal Life Giving Gospel. Your prayers are touching New York City with JESUS’ precious Love.

In His Service.

Love you, Casey :)

New York City…our old stumping ground.

The Empire State Building where you can
view the entire N.Y. Metropolitan area.
It’s a beautiful site to behold. The only
negative part to it … you no longer get
to see the World Trade Centers when you
look at the skyline of lower Manhattan.
    Oh, the memories!

If we still lived in N.Y. we would have invited
both you and Connie out to Southampton and
turned the town of Southampton upside down.
Long Island is in great need of a refreshing breath
    of restoration and renewal.

“Behold, days are coming,” declares the Lord God,
When I will send a famine on the land,
Not a famine for bread or thirst for water,
But rather for hearing the words of the Lord.
    Amos 8:11

You and Connie will be lifted up in our prayers.
May the Lord bless your servants heart.

    All For Him,

    Lee and Richie Maurel

I listened to Pat’s live conversation with Casey few days ago, and it reminded me of the Savior’s commission. Casey, you have become a challege to many sitting on the fence…
